Community Guidelines
Last updated August 5, 2026
WLSync's social features — comments, lists, follows, and likes — are meant to help people share what they watch and discover something new. These guidelines explain what's expected of everyone using them, and sit alongside our Terms of Service.
1. Be respectful
Disagree about a show if you want, but keep it civil. We don't allow harassment, threats, hate speech, or targeted abuse of any kind — including based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
2. Be authentic
- Use your own identity — don't impersonate another person, show, or brand.
- Don't create multiple accounts to evade a suspension or manipulate counts.
- Don't post spam, scams, or unsolicited advertising in comments or lists.
3. Respect content and copyright
Talking about, reviewing, and listing titles is what WLSync is for. Don't post pirated content, links to it, or anything that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
4. No manipulation
Don't use bots, scripts, or coordinated groups to inflate follows, likes, or comments, or to scrape other users' data. Automated access to the Service outside the app or documented API isn't allowed.
5. Keep it appropriate
Don't post sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or content that promotes self-harm. Comments and lists should be safe for a general audience.
6. Reporting and enforcement
If you see content or behavior that breaks these guidelines, report it from within the app or email [email protected]. Depending on severity, we may remove content, warn an account, temporarily restrict it, or terminate it — see Terms of Service, Section 7.
