In Königswald Castle, eight noble old ladies and their maid are waiting for the end of World War II. Princess Ursela has made arrangements with her grandmother, the Countesses Hohenlohe, Dohna, Posadowsky, and Woronzoff, as well as Baroness Schweinitz and Baroness von Boehme.
