Himuro and Tamura confront Kenichi Uchida, an elder from Onomichi, regarding a case involving Ezaki, vice president of the West Japan Mutsumikai. After a discussion, Ezaki himself attempts to apologize directly, but is assassinated by Saito, who has just been released from prison, and Minamida of the Okamura group.
