In February-March 1940, Suomi-Filmi produced four Military Jokes, sleazy propaganda entertainment, by "those great grins" Tatu Pekkarinen (1892-1951) and Matti Jurva (1898-1943). The third Military Jokes was screened at the end of February, two weeks before the end of the Winter War.
