A 14-year-old boy, Tasaki, is fed up with his depressing life in a rural town. He wastes time with his friend, Eda, who’s all talk and no deed, and also suffers from bullying by a classmate, Takiguchi. He feels happier only when having a chat with a pretty girl, Sakura.
