Lissi Strack, a young lawyer, travels with her mother Silvia, the owner of an internationally renowned law firm specializing in insolvency, to the Breton port city of Cancale. When Silvia has a mishap during the trip and is hit by a car driven by the young Alain Demur, she has no choice but to return home.
