A Thousand Stars in the Galactic Night

At night in the city, Ayue, a day labourer, weaves through streets and alleyways to meet her boyfriend, Xiaokai. Neither of them has a steady job, nor have they ever planned for the future. Wandering through the city's many corners is the only certainty in their drifting lives. One day, Xiaokai disappears.
