1991, several months after the fall of communism, Gdansk. Reemigrant Jacek Waldemar returns to Poland with a desire to act. Seeing the home mess, poverty and unemployment, he launches the first private radio on the coast. This is a shock for Slominski, director of the local radio station of the state broadcaster.
