When Day Breaks

“She dies in the crossfire, but in the quiet that follows, what does it mean for the one survived?”

When Day Breaks is a silent, visually driven meditation on loss, memory, and the fragile thread between the living and the dead. Set against the chaos of armed conflict, a daughter killed as a civilian lingers between life and memory as she observes her mother grief from beyond.
