Sound Across the Ocean

The film recreates the situation as the struggle against French colonialism from 1945 to 1954. Tam is a young woman who plays Vietnamese traditional one-string zither and sings Xam folk songs. After helping a revolutionary soldier, her grandfather is shot dead by the enemy.
