June 1944. Philippe de Chassagne, alias Marceau, a secret agent for the Free French, travels to Geneva. His departure for London having been cancelled, he makes contact with Resistance fighters stationed in the Jura mountains. He has a short but wonderful affair with Béatrice, also a member of the Resistance.
