In the heart of the 17th century, Friar Leopoldo da Casamacchia recounts the Gospel with a joy and freedom never seen before. While the Church speaks in Latin, he speaks to the people of a God who is close to them, capable of bringing comfort, hope, and even of laughing alongside them.
