In 1977, in the middle of the Transition towards democracy in Spain, she went up on stage and dazzled cabaret audiences by imitating Sara Montiel with gestural perfection and a very Mediterranean wit. Antonio Campos Ramos, with the stage name of La Margot, quickly became a great star of the Valencian nightlife.
