The film tells the story of the love between Nevin, a poor seamstress, and Kemal, the son of a wealthy businessman. Kemal and Nevin, who love each other, are making plans to get married. However, when Kemal's family strongly opposes the relationship, Kemal leaves home and starts working at a shipyard.
