Kyoko, a sex worker, loses her boyfriend Haruki—an aspiring novelist—to suicide. Overcome with grief, she marries a regular client named Ukai but eventually flees, unable to endure his perverse sexual demands. Keisuke and Erika are now living in the apartment where she once shared memories with Haruki.
